Today I decided to go to the beach in Morro Bay to get some ideas for my blogs, and to just clear my head. An interesting thing happened though when I sat down in the sand and took off my shoes, I started to play with it in my hand and thought where did all this sand come from?
I love the beach it gives me a great place to gain clarity of thought when I am searching for ideas. The sand at the beaches is made up of many different grains, what you hold in your hand is a conglomerate of the diverse ocean floor. Although my devotion to my studies wavered when I hit high school, throughout my early years of education I was an exemplary student. I admittedly had a good deal of help from my parents, but my projects and assignments were always sure to receive an A. One of my most memorable experiments was one of the science fair projects for kids that I conducted for my second grade class.
For the project, my mom and I endeavored to hatch our own chickens. For over a month, the eggs sat in an incubator in my bedroom, and during the day, I would rotate them to ensure that they were properly heated. At the end of the experiment, I was ecstatic when almost all of the eggs actually hatched and I was able to bring in baby chicks to my class.
We are almost done with our science fair project just a few short steps to go. Its time to start organizing the information that you came up with in the brain dump and putting them into your paper. work on sentence structure now if your thoughts are not that organized that’s OK it only takes seconds to change that with word or whatever your using.
You have all the information you need to finish your science project now just do it. Please do not wait till the night before its due to complete your assignment. If you finish early take it to your teacher and ask what you can do to improve it if anything. That’s the beautyof finishing early is getting your project almost graded before its due. Welcome back to my time for science fair series, you have the project the experiment the results of your experiment now its time to start puting it all together. There are seeveral names for this phase of the project like brain dump, brain storming, free writing, whatever you want to call it in this step your going to start by writing down anything that comes to mind about your science fair project.
Its important when you get ideas or thoughts about your science fair project write them down, one word one phrase an idea. You are not allowed to worry about the english or grammer, in this step you are simplly writing down what comes to mind. OK so you have your science experiment laid out on the table, you have all your materials and you have your instruction or recipebook ready to do your science fair project. when you begin your project you want to make sure that your samples are all in a controlled environment.
