science1Interesting thing today I was studying about the Mayan and Aztec world and the question came up why is it colder the higher you go? Good question logically speaking if you were getting closer to the sun you would think you would get warmer. Whats interesting is that you are warmer at lower altitudes because the warmth you feel is being generated from the core of the earth.

The sun heats the earth and the heat inside the earth rises to the top same way lava does. on average you lose ten degrees celcius for every mile up you go. One great way to help facilitate your kids creativity is through science activities for kids.

science books for kids

My brother is a sophomore in high school, and he has always struggled to maintain adequate grades in school. Now that he is realizing that his performance now will have an impact on what he can do in the future, he is beginning to apply himself more. Although he has increased his effort, he is still struggling to keep up in his math and social studies courses.

The one subject that he enjoys and excels in is his biology class. He has become fascinated with science, and his teacher agrees that he demonstrates an amazing proficiency and ability to understand the nuances of the subject. In order to help cultivate this academic strength and passion of his, I bought his some science books for kids for Christmas this year.

kids science experimentsHave you or your kids ever wondered how something is made or how it works? I know for me and my children I seem to get this question asked alot. Dad why is the sky blue or why do roses have thorns? These are all signs that your son or daughter has a curiosity about the world and science. A great way to facilitate this learning is to explore there curiosity through Kids Science experiments. Just the other day my daughters and I created an exploding volcano and to watch there faces light up as the volcano came to life was priceless.

The world is filled with so many things to do as a family, like school sports and homework and cooking I know when I get home from work  I am exausted at times and just need to unwind. My children want to spend time with dad because they haven”t seen him all day. The perfect solution is taking out the Kids Science Experiments and spending quality time with your kids.

Science-Rules

science experimentsChildren who have difficulties with subjects like math and science are often overlooked, but these subjects are crucial to development.  While the usefulness of math and science at higher levels is based on career path, having basic math, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry, and calculus skills have practical applications in everyday life.  In addition, children who have strong skills in math tend to excel in other subjects more.  While math and science are difficult when compared to other subjects, they are essential for development.  Children who struggle with math and science need help, whether that be through parent interaction, easy science experiments for kids, or a professional tutor, it’s best to get kids the help they need to succeed in these subjects.

In addition to being valuable skills for the future, children who excel in math and science will have much better career opportunities at higher levels of academia.  Math and science knowledge can lead to some of the most lucrative careers in the world.
